For the Sailor Moon Redesign Contest held by ~vbabe1 @ [link]

This took so long, it's a sin. I'm terribly busy with my studies at the moment and I'm suffering with a broken tablet (the cord is eating away and the wires are causing faulty connections). Every few minutes the connection would be lost through USB and I would have to jiggle the cord to get it started again. Looks like it's time for a new tablet!

I also spent some time working on this while I was at school. I saved the file and transfered it to my laptop while I was in class, then came home and continued working on it for what seemed like endless hours. So needless to say, this took great dedication but I'm proud of the result. I just hope this doesn't affect my grades in a serious way. @_@

I had great difficulty choosing the color for Luna's eyes. In the manga they are blue, but in the anime they are red. I chose the latter option because I've grown up with the anime series on TV - Sailor Moon just simply became the essence of my childhood, and I will always remember Luna for those curious red eyes. I love that cat so much! (In the middle of finishing the background for the art, I was watching Episode 27 of Sailor Moon, "Kitty Chaos" on Youtube - awww!)
